The beginning of September was kind of hectic, but there are so many exciting things ahead! All I hope is to stay responsible, organized and positive. Also, hope we will manage to shoot for the blog along with other our assignments that involve a great deal of camera work too. I am starting to think of how is it to shoot when it's no longer bearable to stay outside wearing sweater only... I guess we will need to work very quickly! Yes, the fall has officially come, and last weekend we wraped the t-shirt season up. No more bare legs and arms! I'm on a hunt for a pair of perfect boots and a woolen coat.
New York and London fashion weeks are now over. There was so much beauty on the NY runways so it just took my breath away. Reem Acra, Rodarte, Delpozo, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera and Marc by Marc Jacobs have really caught my eye. London have impressed me with a hint of 70s (Tom Ford), and again the flowers were blooming all over on the dresses by Erdem and Marchesa. Sporty outfits will also be in vogue next spring - yes!, which is proven by Mother of Pearl, Pringle of Scotland and Peter Pilotto. Open sandals and shoes were occupying the runways, so go stock up!
When it comes to spring make-up, it is all about natural look.
Overall the accent will be on the shoulders, the neck, on the knees, and, of course, on pretty legs, so keep eating clean and exercising, ladies!
Carolina Herrera's collection included elegant neutrals and pastels, but also rich statement colours, red in particular. It was the kind of perfect timeless red that make you think of the Hollywood legends. The silhouettes were ispired by the 50s and the 60s.
Peter Pilotto was very modern, all about colourful sporty looks, sleeveless jackets and dresses paired with flat sandals. Still they were very feminine as flowers, playful cutouts, structured elements and even pastels serve as the base of the collection. Inspiration derived from the 60s and the 70s.
I especially loved this divine white floral dress by Carolina Herrera. Feels like it's falling into pieces! The dress on the right by Peter Pilotto reminded me of Herrera's masterpiece in terms of technique - solid pieces of material on semi-sheer fabric.
Marchesa created a collection where both Esmeralda and Fleur'de'Lis could have picked a perfect dress. Besprent with flowers, made of sheer weightless fabrics, those dresses were a fairytale. Loved them, even though I don't like wearing florals anymore. But after all, I am still a girl who once dreamed of a princess dress! And even when we girls grow up and become all that independent and proud, no one of us can resist a perfect princess dress that requires a prince to open the door for us and give us a hand!

Tom Ford calls for rebellious years to come back! The decade of the 70s was embodied in his collection using iridescent fabrics, flare pants, platform shoes and Joan Jett-inspired hair. It was very sexy and provocative, yet elegant. To have such pieces in your wardrobe would definetely be a bold fashion statement!
Wrapping the post up with two of my favotites, Rodarte and Delposo. The collection by Rodarte was a mix of military inspired tops\bottoms and sparkling dresses that made models look like mermaids. Delposo was notable by complex structured elements like this yellow top, and bold colours mixed with souffle pastels.
I am sure that Milan is and Paris will be even more exciting. There are so many designers to keep an eye on! Stay tuned for another post or two.
