Travel Journal

The city at night.

What time of the day do you love the most? Let's see how many morning people are out there!

The city at night fascinates me. The lights, the sounds, the atmosphere, the feeling of adventure coming... Needless to mention that I don't go to bed early!

Koreatown, the district in downtown Toronto, has stolen my heart. If you plan to visit Toronto, you definitely should go there and try all the yummy food! The vibe and the energy will not leave you disappointed!

As I mentioned in the last post, recently we have found disposable cameras. We have never used them before, so grabbed one, decided to finish it the same day and then to have it developed. We spent an evening in lovely Koreatown, the weirdest and the loveliest neighborhood, shooting everything that was catching my eye. It was a real pleasure to shoot and feel so careless and free! We wraped the beautiful evening up with a cup of coffee at my new favorite spot, The Green Beanery (yummy almond lattes and lots of egg'n'dairy-free treats!).

The pictures look kinda indie, probably because of the grain and colour rendering. But that's okay because I loved the format of "travel journal". I love film cameras because they are perfect for an anventure. You just shoot and go your way without staring at the display, making dozens of takes or continuously sharing. You don't miss any second of being at the moment, and document things just as you see them when they catch your attention.

Thank you for reading!
All pictures taken by me.
